AMARANTH, 25 lbs.


Amaranth is a new texture treat...a real adventure loaded with fiber and protein. I tried it for the first time a few months ago and I prefer to cook it in water, like oatmeal, maybe adding some raisins and sweetening with brown sugar. You don't gobble it down as fast as oatmeal with its interesting lightly crunchy texture, yet it holds together like cooked oats. Leaves you feeling more satisfied then common modern day cooked cereal.
